And me sat here with a little stack of unopened colour and black and white cartridges. I hang at Boot screen with White Apple logo, the progress bar move slowly to the end and hang there. During installation, there are tow warning that the system extensions do not work. The problem happened to me since Epson Printer Driver 3.1 many months ago, cannot reboot after install. Apple should not release this crappy printer drivers update (0) 3 Marekjanci 13 August 2014 Version: 2.18 I, too, couldnt print from 2 iMacs using Mavericks and one MacBook Pro using Snow Leopard after applying the Epson printer driver update 2.18. Our Epson WF-7510 printer was connected wirelessly to our router, but our computers couldnt connect to the printer. Message was Printer not connected or No communication with printer. After following that procedure, I went into Printer Scanner Preferences, and deleted the chosen Epson printer driver. After deleting the driver, I then added the Epson driver for our printer. Then I tried to print, and test sheets printed from both iMacs. As for the MacBook Pro, I had to restart, after which I could print. So, in summary, try unplugging then plugging in your router (if printing wirelessly). I solve it by simply putting a name to my computer under Sharing options in System Preferences (became mysteriously blank after updating). Hope this tip could help:) (1) 0.5 rpincowes 20 August 2013 Version: 2.15 This seems to have messed up our printer (SP1290). The nozzle check pattern is OK, but print colours with all documents and images look like at least one colour is missing. Jean-Poole 14 August 2013 Version: 2.15 Like I wrote before DONT use this upgrade. Why does Apple keep showing this on Software Update, when their own specialist told me that there are problems with it (1) 0.5 xgman 10 August 2013 Version: 2.15 Bricked my workforce 840. Thank god for time machine. August 2013 Version: 2.15 Downloaded and installed via App store without issues. Always download from the App store because you will get only that portion of the update that applies to your Epson printer. In this case it was only about 32MB, not the 1.2GB update (which contains all the drivers for every Epson printer still supported) and is a waste of space.
